As a Construction Worker at Webber Construction Lubbock, you can expect to work Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with the exception of holidays. This is an entry-level position that provides an opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

* Perform strenuous physical activities on a construction jobsite

* Lift, carry, and manually transport construction materials, tools, and supplies

* Mix and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools

* Assist Foremen and skilled craft workers with their assigned duties under close supervision

* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

* Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill

Requirements:

* Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials

* Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature

* Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications

* High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to work Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with the exception of holidays
